We are beyond excited to add another sweet miracle into our family. The kids have prayed to Heavenly Father to send us another baby soon, every night for over a year now! We LOVE adoption! We love it so much! We would never be able to love our sweet children more than we do already. There is something so special about the way they came into our family, and we try very hard to make them realize that. We are very aware of the blessing that adoption is and the love and courage it takes.
Both Brooklyn and Braxton's adoptions are open. We love our children's birth mom's! At this time we understand the blessings that can come from open adoption which could include planned visits, phone calls, and emails. We will definitely write letters or e-mail and send photos to keep you informed and involved. And if you wish we would hope that you could correspond with them as well. I have set up private blogs just for our birth mom's so they can see what we are all up to. I try to update it on a regular basis, so they feel like they know what is going on in our lives. I take way too many pictures- but they are only little once RIght?! We strive to make arrangements that everyone is comfortable with.
We are very open about adoption with our children, providing them with age-appropriate information about adoption and answering their questions to ensure that they have accurate information.
If our children feel a desire to meet their birth parents when he or she is older, we will be sensitive to their needs and lend our support. We would love the opportunity to meet the birth parent(s), if they express a desire to do so.
